Term	3-year commitment: (2 years) Directress and (1 year) National Advisory Board)
Responsibilities	The Directress shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the National Incorporation; she shall preside over all meetings of the Membership and Directors. She shall sign, as Directress, all membership certificates and all contracts, deeds, conveyances and other instruments necessary to the transaction of the business of the Incorporation authorized by the Board of Directors. The Directress shall call special meetings of the Board of Directors when she may deem it necessary. The Directress shall have, subject to the control of the Board of Directors and chapter President general direction of the affairs of the Incorporation and shall discharge such other and further duties as may be required of her by the Board of Directors in the proper conduct of the business of the Incorporation.
Duties	Chair all board meetings. Provide input to National Newsletter i.e., Directress letter. Understand and maintain the legal position of the organization. Coordinate with all Board of Directors members on their activities. Seek assistance from Past Directress(s), Chapter Officers, Board of Directors, and National Advisory Board members as necessary. Establish and maintain cross-communication with other professional organizations. Turn over National records/archives to next National Directress in good order.
