Why you joined SISTUHS - I joined SISTUHS because I had just been accepted to a predominantly
white institution and I was looking toward further development
of myself as a woman. As I was looking through the websites of
organizations at FSU, I saw SISTUHS Incorporated and knew right
then that this organization was for me.
Reading
about the acronyms, activities and meeting the SISTUHS further affirmed for me
that this organization was where I belonged so I signed up! Since that moment I have never doubted being
a part of this organization. I have served as the Membership Chair and President
for the Florida State University Chapter and as Director of Correspondence on
the Board of Directors. I see the constant
transition in myself and give a lot of credit to this organization and the experiences
it has provided me, in leadership and community service.
Community Involvement -
Tallahassee, FL
Professional Chapter of SISTUHS, Inc., Positive Preteens, Elementary Educator
(I live community service!)
Education - B.S. in Education (Humanities Minor),

Goals for Term - As As Assistant Directress of Policy it is my goal to fulfill all my duties
as listed in the Constitution of SISTUHS, Inc. I want to collect
all material necessary to get our 501 (c)3 status.
I will continue to uplift my local community and represent
our acronyms on a daily basis.
Favorite Quote - "Success is to be measured
not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by
the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed."
