Greetings! Director Olushola is serving her fourth term on the National Board of Directors and looks forward to taking part in the progression of our community through the work of SISTUHS, Inc. An alumnae of the University of Florida, Olushola is known for her active participation in SISTUHS, the campus, and the Gainesville community. Since 2003 Olushola has been a member of SISTUHS, Inc. and has held the position of Elder, Ambassador, Chaplin, Nation Director of Programs, and is currently serving as the National Director of Public Relations. "As Director of Public Relations my goal is to bring awareness not only to the work of SISTUHS, Inc. but to the causes which make organizations, such as SISTUHS, vital. " Currently seeking her Master of Education in Sport and Recreation Administration at Temple University, Olushola strives to empower the community through creating innovative methods of providing access to physical activity and health education programs to underserved communities. "I joined SISTUHS, Inc. because I wanted to be a part of an organization of women who were making a positive impact not only in the community through service but with the personal development of themselves and the people around them. SISTUHS, Inc. continues to teach me about the great legacy African- American women hold within us and how that legacy not only guides our present but projects our future. I want to ensure every African American women reaches the future that is destined for them, and I thank SISTUHS for helping me to do so." |
