Greetings! It is my pleasure to serve as the 2009-2011 Director of Expansion. SISTUHS,
Incorporated has a special place in my heart because it fostered
the personal growth of many women, including myself. I challenge you take initiative to leave your
mark on your Chapter and the entire organization. If done with good intentions, I can assure
you that nothing but great things will follow. I have had the
opportunity to see many positive changes for both members and
current Chapters and look forward to the changes that will
occur! Why you joined SISTUHS - I joined SISTUHS because I wanted
to enjoy my college experience as much as possible while
at UF. I was introduced to the organization by a friend
and SISTUH and saw a great opportunity to give back to
the community while forming lifelong friendships with
a group of women. The family-like bond inspired me to
find out more about the organization, objectives, acronyms,
and service projects, all of which confirmed that SISTUHS
was the organization for me! From the completion of Rites
of Passage, I have made it a personal mission to spend
time getting to know my SISTUHS, sharing my life experiences
and lessons learned, and fulfilling leadership positions
to be the change I want to see. As an undergraduate member,
I served as the Activities committee chair (2007-2008)
and Secretary (2008-2009) of the UF chapter. I enjoyed
my experience as a collegiate member and plan on adding
to my list of memories as I continue to meet my personal
and professional goals. Education
