Responsibilities

It shall be the duty of the Director of Finance and Budget to receive and safely keep all monies belonging to the Incorporation and to pay or cause the same to be paid out under the direction of the Board of Directors, except as to contract bills which may be paid without specific direction from said Board; and she shall discharge such other duties pertaining to her office as shall be prescribed by the Board of Directors. In the absence of the Director of Finance and Budget, or in the case of her inability or refusal to act, the Directress shall appoint an officer of a chapter in good standing to fill the term of office.

Duties
  1. Maintain the National checking account.
  2. See that National Officers are reimbursed for documented out-of-pocket expenses, and that proper receipts are received and kept for records.
  3. See that all reimbursement checks are signed and distribute in a timely fashion.
  4. Deposit all cash and checks in a timely fashion.
  5. Manage National annual budget.
  6. Inform the appropriate Chapters regarding any delinquent accounts due.
  7. Provide monthly financial report of transactions.
  8. Provide quarterly budget report.
  9. Facilitate annual budgeting process.
  10. Turn over all financial records and files to the next Director of Finance and Budget.
  11. Collect attendance fees at each National event
