2-year commitment

In the absence of the Directress, or in the case of her inability or refusal to act, the Assistant-Directress shall have the same power and authority as, and shall perform the duties of, the Directress. In the absence of the Assistant-Directress, or in the case of her inability or refusal to act, the Directress shall appoint a member of the National Board of Directors to hold the position until the next National Conference, when the membership will have the opportunity to elect a new Assistant-Directress.

1. Assess Member's/Chapter's needs.
2. Act as backup to Chapter"s President.
3. Act as National Directress if she permanently leaves before her term or if she is impeached.
4. Serve as a point of contact with Members, Chapters, and the National Board of Directors.
5. Other activities as assigned by National Directress
6. Turn over National records/archives to next National Assistant Directress in good order.
